3 students expelled from university

One of the policies employed by the Iranian government to suffocate the Baha’i minority has been the dismissal of both students and educators from educational institutions.

The most recent case involves the expulsion of 3 medical students from the University of Sahand Tabriz. Via Human Rights Activists in Iran:

Three medical students from the University of Sahand Tabriz were expelled from the university because of being Baha’i. Yesterday, Tuesday March 3rd, university officials and the department of education shut down access to the

online university registration and course selection for three medical students from the University of Sahand in Tabriz. As such these students were unable to register for the new term at the university and select their required courses.

Sina Dana, Sama Noorani, and Faraz Vazirzadeh are the three expelled university students. Their numerous attempts to determine the causes for their expulsion has met with university officials hanging up on any inquiries related to the matter.
