Judiciary spokesman: six Baha’is arrested in Iran

Ali Reza Jamshidi, spokesman for Iran’s judiciary, has stated that six Baha’is were arrested in Iran and added:

“These people were not arrested for their faith. The six Bahais are accused of insulting religious sanctities”

The spokesman has not revealed the identities of the arrested six, or the date of their detention. It should be noted though that on the 14th of January, authorities in Tehran raided several households and arrested six individuals.

While we do not wish to limit conversations in any way, please note that insulting/abusive comments will be removed without hesitation.
