Jamal Al-Banna speaks for the Baha’is

In an interview with Copts United, Jamal Al-Banna -the controversial Islamic scholar and younger brother of the Muslim Brotherhood’s founder Hassan Al Banna – spoke in favour of the Baha’i Faith and its adherents. Al-Banna called for granting Baha’is freedom, adding that we should accept pluralism as a natural human condition.

He further added that the claim that we only believe in 3 religions is of utmost foolishness, and he stressed that the Qur’an states that there are Prophets we do not know of.

It should be noted that this isn’t the first occasion in which Al-Banna speaks for the rights of Baha’is and at a time in which attacks and slurs against Baha’is are intensifying, his favourable statements are certainly welcome.

While we do not wish to limit conversations in any way, please note that insulting/abusive comments will be removed without hesitation.
