Baha’is denied that they split up from Islam, but that they rather believe that their ideology is a natural progress of faiths.
In this concern, Aaron Emmel, in-charge of human rights in National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of the United States, said that as law of Jesus Christ is a progress to the message of Moses, the message of Baha’i is a progression and confirmation of the Sharia of Mohammed, PBUH, as each messenger has a pledge that should be fulfilled.
He added that the pledge of Islam Prophet is to unify the world and the Baha’i will act to achieve it

Just over a year ago, Al Masry Al Youm had reported on our “Egypt Tourism Ad” video. This is a very welcomed step – it is necessary for the public to be made aware of the obstacles their fellow citizens have to endure. And as several comments on the article have shown, much has to be achieved on that front.

I truly applaud your human rights initiative. The courage that you display and inspire in others contributes greatly to humanity’s common mission of finally establishing a purer definition of a human being.
Regarding this article and others translated into English, as one learning more about the Islamic “mind”, I was fascinated by the author’s focus on religious subjects which Western Baha’is find mundane, especially because many of the “social” laws given by Baha’u'llah are not yet applicable to our society’s present conditions. I believe that Ms Bigelo informed the writer of these facts.
A sincere attempt to accurately translate something into another language has its own merits. But this translated version, like others, has a few fundamental errors. For example, Baha’is are forbidden to dissimulate their faith.
You work is too valuable for such errors. Perhaps in future, allowing Ms Bigelo’s or another Baha’i office to correct translations will go far in validating this website as one whose information can be completed trusted.

I wish to assure you that we are very meticulous in our translation process, ensuring they’re adequately reviewed by several individuals before publication. We are aware of the sensitivity of the issue, and the importance of accuracy.
The translation for the “Al Masry Al Youm” article was not our work, but was provided through the newspaper’s website. While we admittedly did not apply the same rigourous process with this translation, our initial checks found it to be an accurate translation of the original.
However, we will reevaluate the translation, and should we find any errors we will be sure to correct them
